If you want to explore local coffee shops, random restaurants, you can walk or take a Grab-bike to get around the city. We have some recommendations in the Food & Drink section.

Nguyen Hue Walking Street

  • Just a 5 minute walk from your hotel, Nguyen Hue Walking Street is a must-visit spot as you explore Saigon.
  • The best time to reach Nguyen Hue Pedestrian Street is in the evening from 7 pm to 9 pm, especially on Saturday and Sunday evenings when they block all vehicle access. On these evenings there will be lots of interesting and entertaining activities to see.
  • If you want to watch Nguyen Hue Walking Street from above, you can go to the rooftop of Rex Hotel

The cafe apartment - 42 Nguyen hue

  • If you want to watch Nguyen Hue Walking Street from above, you can also go to the cafe apartment (recommended in our coffee section) on 42 Nguyen Hue street
  • Be sure to capture your Instagram pic in front of "The Cafe Apartments" while on Nguyen Hue Walking Street.

Bui Vien Street

  • Bui Vien walking street is a backpacker district with many restaurants, coffee shops, hotels, pubs, and bars. The area is now equipped with public Wi-Fi, restrooms, and information desks to serve visitors better.
  • This is where you go for a crazy night out and have fun. Because of it's popularity this is a very crowded and tourist heavy area. This also makes it an attractive place for prostitutes, pickpockets, drug dealers, etc. It's a fun place to visit and you should, but be aware of the kind of area you are in.

Ben Thanh Street Food Market

  • Recently re-opened, this is another popular area to visit and check out street food.

Craft Beer - East West Brewing Co.

Cocktail Bar, Beer Hall, Cigar Lounge Pub Crawl
