Saigon
January 29
Morning
Breakfast at your hotel.
If you want to mix things up with a smaller group (like 8 people max at a time). Andy recommends: The Vintage Emporium Đa kao. Will need to take a Grab (try Grab bike if you're brave ;) )
Lunch
Enjoy your time and maybe treat yourself to a massage somewhere.
Check out Ben Thanh Street Food Market or other Saigon Activities .
Coffee: Vietnam is all about coffee. Try getting an "egg coffee" at least one time to try it. It's really good! (don't let the name throw you off).
Food: Andy recommends trying Bánh Xèo. That was his first food discovery when coming to Saigon.
Enjoy your time and maybe treat yourself to a massage somewhere to help recover and get over jet lag.
Hotel Continental has a decent lunch spot (walking distance). Or try different spot. Explore!
Maybe Lunch at The Vintage Emporium Đa kao. Small groups only (8 people max).
Check out Saigon Activities section.
Check out Food & Drink section.
Walk / explore westward towards Nguyen Hue Walking Street. Lots of hidden gems where you need to know where to go. Saigon Activities section has a google map with some pin drops on where you can go in this area. Nguyen Hue Walking Street area tends to be better at night time.
Dinner
Optional - ROS - Yacht Club (did not make reservation here). Good seafood dinner spot that is walking distance from ICON Hotel.
Need a pre-game meeting area? ICON Hotel rooftop is a good spot to meet up and have a drink before going out. If it is raining, maybe try meeting at Xu Restaurant Lounge next door instead.
Optional: If you can try a Saigon Prince cruise or Bonsai Cruise.
Do a Cocktail Lounge or Beer Hall Pub Crawl. Should mostly be walking distance. Check out Saigon Activities section for a map of yellow markers with suggestions for where to go.
